Own the assembly engine — the deterministic core that turns a classified document set into a Bates-stamped, indexed, citation-resolvable binder. This is a role for an engineer who finds correctness under edge cases more interesting than novelty.

Own the relationship with boutique immigration firms from trial through renewal. The people you work with are senior paralegals and managing partners, and credibility comes from actually understanding what a two-tier index is.

Protect the most sensitive documents a law firm holds. You will own encryption, access control, data residency and the evidence we present to firms conducting Rule 1.6 diligence.

How we work
What this is actually like.
- Hybrid in Bengaluru, remote across India
- Engineering and research sit together in Koramangala three days a week. Customer-facing roles are remote and run on US hours, which we compensate for rather than pretend is normal.
- We read the regulations
- Everyone on the product team has read 8 CFR 204.5(h)(3) and Matter of Dhanasar. Not because it is required, but because you cannot design this well without knowing what the output has to survive.
- Correctness beats velocity
- Bates numbering and pagination are deterministic and regression-tested against reference binders. We ship carefully in the places where being wrong ends up in a federal filing.
- We visit customer firms
- Product and design run sessions inside law firms, watching paralegals work at 6pm before a deadline. It is the single most useful thing we do.
